Ekta Celebrates Her Birthday In Hong Kong
Surprisingly, the producer skips on the traditional lavish bday party that she throws every year

The TV Czarina turned a year older yesterday. That obviously called for a celebration. But unlike other years where she throws a bash at her residence Krishna Raj, this one was a relatively low-key one. Guess she has taken a cue from her good friend Karan Johar who opted for a quiet birthday in London this year (KJo toying with bringing in his b’day in London, May 22).
So Friday evening saw an intimate pre-birthday bash being held inside the premises of her company, Balaji Telefilms. It was organised by her junior staff members.
Thats not where the story ended. The party then moved overseas. (Do we see you getting jealous?)
Yes, the producer headed to Hong Kong for a five-day holiday on Saturday morning with her friends Anita Hassanandani, Mushtaq Sheikh, Ruchika Kapoor and others.
Who wants a one-day-long bash when you can party for 5 days? Right, Ekta?
